Wonderful location, lovely cottage and super hosts. That’s it in a nutshell!

Dunultach Cottage is a wonderfully charming and lovingly decorated place. With its colourful interior — especially all the pink — it almost feels like staying in a doll’s house. There are little lamps and light switches everywhere, adding to the cosy and playful atmosphere. We felt at home immediately. The cottage also has a lovely garden which guests are welcome to use. The location is reasonably quiet; although the house is situated next to a road, there is very little traffic at night. For groceries, you will need to drive a little, with Tarbert probably being the best option. That said, the nearby petrol station is actually quite well stocked. This was the only aspect we would rate slightly below five stars, but it did not really affect our overall impression. There are plenty of opportunities for walks and day trips in the surrounding area, and Campbeltown is about a 30-minute drive away. The hosts are absolutely wonderful. They live right next door and are extremely friendly and helpful whenever you have a question or need any assistance. All in all, Dunultach Cottage is a very warm, individual and memorable place to stay, and we felt very comfortable there.

We had a fantastic week at Dunultach cottage. Had everything you could think of for a week self catering. Cottage wonderfully clean and the location is perfect. The back garden was very secure for our dog so we didn't worry about him escaping. The view of Dun Skeig from the cottage is amazing and is worth a walk up there to see the sun set over Jura. Great location to explore the Kintyre peninsula. Elizabeth & John were great hosts, very friendly and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Love the Victoria sponge, it was delicious.
