This is a lovely cottage in its own setting but within a 10 minute walk of a hotel with fab food, cocktails etc. We took our dogs who loved the walks from the door around the loch and the island. Note if taking dogs the garden is not secure at the rear so take a long lead if you have any escapers!

This was our second stay at Shore Cottage, and it certainly won't be our last. It's a lovely, compact holiday home in a peaceful and secluded location, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything needed for a great stay. We particularly enjoyed the wonderful dog walks around the island, and our dogs absolutely loved swimming in the sea every day.One of the highlights of this visit was watching the red squirrels feeding in the garden. It was a real privilege to see them so close and added something special to our stay.If you're looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by nature and wildlife, Shore Cottage is hard to beat. We had another fantastic holiday and are already looking forward to returning.Wildlife warning - Watch out for the ticks and midges!

This was our second time staying at Shore cottage, and we plan on returning again next year. It is a wonderful place, surrounded by nature and wildlife and the perfect 'switch off' from the usual pace of life.
