Guests say

Invernoe Cottage offers a truly peaceful and remote escape, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife, and direct access to walks and outdoor activities. Guests consistently praise the stunning location, secure garden, and tranquil atmosphere, making it ideal for those seeking solitude and nature. While the cottage is well-equipped and comfortable, some mention the challenging access road and minor issues with cleanliness and dated kitchenware. Overall, visitors leave with fond memories and a desire to return, valuing the unique setting and relaxing environment above all.

Most guests found the cottage clean and comfortable, but several noted areas needing improvement, such as skirting boards, cobwebs, and chipped paintwork. These minor issues did not significantly detract from their stay, but suggest room for more thorough cleaning.

The location is widely celebrated for its stunning views, abundant wildlife, and peaceful seclusion. The remote setting is a highlight for most, though the rough access road is frequently mentioned as a challenge, especially for low vehicles.

Guests describe the cottage as cosy, spacious, and homely, with comfortable beds and a secure garden for pets and children. The tranquil environment and well-equipped interior contribute to a restful stay.

The cottage is generally well-equipped, with good amenities including a log fire, smart TV, and kitchen essentials. Some guests noted that cookware and utensils could use updating, and a few minor maintenance issues were mentioned, but these did not majorly impact enjoyment.

Gorgeous location and the view from the cottage is amazing. Walks from cottage and also a waterfall where you can swim is close by. The track to the cottage is anxiety inducing and did stop me going out on one occasion (but plenty to do around the cottage). I’d go back if I had someone else to drive 🙃 No one would regret staying here x

If your after a remote location thats in a stunning location, so peaceful, with magnificent views, abundant with wildlife, Invercoe Cottage is the place for you. Just spent a week at the cottage - me, my husband, our lad and 3 of his pals, oh and Harley one of our dogs, fortunately we were blessed with a gorgeous week of weather. We went on many hikes through the Glen, creating our own trails every day, did a spot of wild swimming in the river and waterfalls. The lads took themselves off fishing daily. Your not too far from Oban and the other local places to visit. It was an enjoyable time had by us all, sad to leave it all behind, was good to be out in the clean air with no noice only the birds and sheep! The cottage is well equipped, like a home from home, just make sure you have all you need as the local petrol station is well stocked, but the track to the main road is longer than you think especially as you don't travel more than 20mph down it. Thanks Andrew for an amazing stay, some lovely memories made.
