Just returned home from a wonderful 5 night stay. We had the best time, exploring surrounding areas, so much to do. Our 4th visit to the area, and still finding new places of interest. This house is so charming and comfortable very warm and has two gorgeous fireplaces which gives it a cosy ambiance in the evenings. The grounds are stunningly rural and the garden so beautiful and peaceful. Fully equipped with all kitchen utensils absolutely loved this house. 5 starWe can't wait to return. Highly recommend for anytime of the year.

Marwhirn House is a lot bigger and grander than the pictures suggest, which are quite out of date now on the website. The house is spacious, warm and has everything you need. For those who lament the lack of WiFi, both Vodafone and O2 had good 4G and 5G signal for you to tether. Very highly recommended for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and excellent value for money.

Amazing holiday home, the house is absolutely stunning and very well equipped, you can’t beat the views from every single window, gorgeous rolling hills, woodland and sheep surrounding this house. Comparing to other properties we’ve stayed before I’d suggest to do a big food shopping and stay, enjoy and relax completely in the property and its grounds. There is no wi-fi so make sure you bring lots of books and games for family fun time. Aga burner takes a while to heat up so make sure you take your time heating up the oven before cooking your dinner. Finally the attention from housekeeper Mrs M. was fantastic, helpful and kind and made our stay even better. I highly recommend this property.
