Park Cottage is a spacious property with ample rooms and beds, located in a peaceful setting with access to hotel facilities including a pool. Guests have enjoyed the large kitchen, comfortable beds, and the bonus of hotel towels for the pool. The property is well-suited for large groups and family gatherings, offering various communal areas and a good selection of games, despite some maintenance issues.
Several reviews mention a lack of cleanliness, including overgrown exteriors and issues with pests. However, some guests found the property to be clean, indicating inconsistency in this area.
The location is frequently praised for being peaceful and good for relaxation, with access to hotel facilities and local walks. The difficulty in finding the property is noted, but once located, the setting is appreciated.
Guests have found the beds comfortable and the property warm, but several reviews cite worn or broken furniture, particularly sofas, which detracts from the overall comfort.
The property offers a range of facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and hotel amenities. However, maintenance issues like broken sun chairs, non-working radiators, and a lack of basics such as oven gloves and sharp knives have been highlighted.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category. Guests should note that such amenities are not guaranteed.

Very in need of updating & decorating. Furniture needed replaced ..... 1 couch was broken. The outside was a disgrace.......very overgrown, with climbing plants all over & right beside the windows.......we had 'hornets' in the cottage. Also mice scratching at night.WFI didn't work outside of lounge area. Not very clean. It's a shame as it's a huge property with ample rooms, beds & facilities.....but I would not recommend it.

Had a great relaxing stay. Lovely location very peaceful. Manager of the hotel went above and beyond to help us Settees in lounge need changing as quite worn. But apart from that we will definitely be returning in the future.
