Fantastic caravan with everything you need in a beautiful spot. However on arrival we had to vacuum the seating due to it being full of crumbs and muck and there was no hot water, think it was the boiler. We arrived late so didn't want to disturb anyone by getting in touch. Dirty grill pan and jug. I totally get that's it's previews occupants, however I feel when paying so much money for our stay, these things should be checked before new guests arrived. That said we loved our trip, after sorting things and the hot water coming back on the following day we found the caravan a great place to relax after walking. The bathroom and bedroom was spotless. Then on our last night there was heavy rain and water gushing in from above the caravan window. Would we stay here again, I actually think we would. Things happen and it was a little disappointing but I most certainly think we would.☺️ Sykes cottages and the owner have been great with correspondence since we returned home.

Frying pan with food stuck on. Unclean dog bowls left in kitchen. Shower had to be unblocked. Doggy smell. No tea pot. But bathrooms were clean and we appreciated the local maps. Nice location - very quiet.

It’s clean, spacious, and has absolutely everything you need - there was even a little welcome gift of milk, tea, and coffee. It’s in a secluded spot and all we heard during our week’s stay was the sound of the birds - make sure you bring food to top up the feeders and you’ll see lots of birds. The views from the decking area too must surely be among the best in the entire park. We watched many a sunset. We loved our stay here and cannot wait to come back.
