Lintie Cottage is praised for its beautiful location, comfortable accommodation, and fantastic views, particularly from the hot tub. Guests appreciate the helpfulness of the staff and the owner's attentiveness. Some guests experienced issues with noise and a lack of certain kitchen items, but the overall sentiment remains positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Several reviews mention cleanliness issues, including leftover food residue and spider webs. The request for guests to clean before departure, despite the presence of cleaning issues upon arrival, also affects this score.
The cottage's location is consistently described as lovely, with beautiful views and a lot to see and do in the area. The rural setting and proximity to the bay are highlights.
The bedrooms are noted to be a good size and comfortable for guests. However, the comfort score is affected by reports of noisy pipes at night, which disturbed some guests' sleep.
The hot tub is a well-received feature, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as non-working appliances and missing kitchen items. The lack of WiFi, despite being advertised, also impacts this score.
While there is a mention of the owner giving wine as an apology for a booking issue, there are not enough references to consistent thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed.

Can't fault our stay one bit , host ,we're very helpful and if we needed anything, they were straight onto it , what can I say view's are beautiful, the hot tub was a relaxing place with beautiful views, my 2 dogs enjoyed as much as we did , I will definitely return in the future, thank you for making my stay as comfortable as possible

Lovley views. Hot tub was a bonus and kept topped up by the owner. We were kept awake by dogs barking most nights which wasn't much fun. Kitchen was not very well equipped some basic items missing such as a measuring jug, grater, bowl- to mix thing in, oven gloves. There were no coat hooks to hang coats up, which would be a real problem when it's wet weather. There was a good washing machine, but no washing basket or airer to dry clothes. Bedroooms were a good size and worked well for the 4 of us. The 4 of us had no WiFi connection the whole time we were there. It would be best to be clear about this rather than say intermittent which it really wasn't.

Helpful staff . Had a great stay . Only downside was the noisy pipes at night kept us up .
