The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We very much appreciated the welcome pack. The close proximity to the river Nith was just so lovely. The views were spectacular and the river walks much loved by us and our dog. The host was very kind and helpful, as was her daughter. The enclosed garden was very secure for our dog

We loved our stay at Branta cottage, it had everything that was needed to get by. It is a very comfortable place with views over the river with and beyond. We were even privileged to watch the swallows feeding their chicks and to watch them fly for the first time. Mrs Murray was a gem of a host leaving fresh eggs and chocolates for our arrival. We will be back next year

Branta cottage is a well equipped, comfortable cottage. It has an excellent location overlooking the river Nith which provides a wonderful view of the river and the birds on it. We even witnessed the Nith bore which was impressive as it swept up the river. This is our second visit and will not be our last!
