The whole experience was great. A small quibble would be the pillows, which were pretty dire. Also, the wifi was erratic. The router/booster in the kitchen needs to be turned off and back on again fairly frequently. Otherwise, we had a great holiday. The cottage is very well situated and comfortable. We would certainly return.

A lovely cottage and a lovely area for getting away from it all

Well appointed house in a lovely village on the Solway Firth, with its own little private outside space. Good location for exploring some delightfully understated coastal villages and countryside. Cosy pub next door, and good value lunches to be had at Colvend golf club (open to all) a few miles along the coast.
