Wavecrest has been upgraded in 2019 and is a comfortable detached bungalow with the most stunning views over the Solway Firth. Open the door into the newly fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar opening onto the cosy living room and dining area, where you can sit and enjoy breakfast with those most magical views, the perfect start to your day. From the living room there is a conservatory where you can relax and enjoy the garden and the sound of the sea.
The coastal village of Southerness has undoubtedly some of the most outstanding views of the Solway Firth to the English Lake District. Explore the beach and the striking white landmark of the Lighthouse, built in 1749, or challenge yourself on the championship golf course.

Amazing place re views etc. We went mid February and local stores/chippy etc as mentioned in folder not open till March. There was a nisa store close by (you go through a holiday park to get to house and nisa store part of that). Handy re entertainment centre and restaurant (so long as you don't have a dog - but they do takeaways).Truly, absolutely recommend staying at wavecrest. Our dog loved his walks on beach, as did we. Going back to this lovely cottage after a chilly walk was brilliant.

This property is perfect for a ground base there was notices stating no animals on furniture which I agree with when I hovered after day four the cushions on the sofa had just been turned around covered in white dog fur not happy with that also the microwave needs replacing as full of rust but apart from the above the property was perfect in every way
