Open the door into the newly fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar opening onto the cosy living room and dining area, where you can sit and enjoy breakfast with those most magical views, the perfect start to your day. From the living room there is a conservatory where you can relax and enjoy the garden and the sound of the sea.
The coastal village of Southerness has undoubtedly some of the most outstanding views of the Solway Firth to the English Lake District. Explore the beach and the striking white landmark of the Lighthouse, built in 1749, or challenge yourself on the championship golf course.
From Wavecrest you have an ideal base in which to explore beautiful Dumfries and Galloway from its beaches, right on your doorstep, to coves, cliff top walks and forest trails. With countless historic sites throughout the region and many fun filled activities, there is something to suit all ages, while enjoying the spectacular scenery along the way.

This property is perfect for a ground base there was notices stating no animals on furniture which I agree with when I hovered after day four the cushions on the sofa had just been turned around covered in white dog fur not happy with that also the microwave needs replacing as full of rust but apart from the above the property was perfect in every way

Good holiday weather could have been better. Louis liked it in the sea trying to catch seagulls. Good view of solway watching tide coming in and going out.very good cottage for views and amenities. Will be back.
