This former brewery store is a delightful upside down cottage and is perfect for couples wanting a comfortable base to explore this varied corner of Scotland. The ground floor of this Gatehouse of Fleet cottage has a spacious double bedroom and shower room. The large open plan living area of this Gatehouse of Fleet cottage is situated on the first floor and is a charming feature comprising a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a comfortable sitting area with a double sofa bed and electric fire. The cottage is located in a small courtyard just off the main street and has easy access to the village of Gatehouse of Fleet, which is home to an attractive assortment of cafes, shops and restaurants. The Mill on the Fleet Visitor Centre and Cally Gardens are perennial tourist favourites making Gatehouse of Fleet a popular destination. I was there for the Raiders Bike Races and the house is perfectly located on the High Street. It had every amenity you might want, including an air fryer!! Lots of space right in the middle of Gatehouse. Our Host popped round to make sure everything was ok, and everyone in the town are so friendly! The pubs serve amazing food if you don't want to cook. It's a great base for exploring the area!

The bed has been upgraded since then, The location is excellent for access to Gatehouse, Cafes, Pubs and the Park, and central to many places other of interest, lack of a garden was not an issue. Our host was very helpful. There is nothing we would complain about and we had a lovely holiday. Not too much rain, more days of sunshine than anything else. All good.
