The property was spotless and well equipped. The location was handy for shops and cafes and we were very fortunate with the weather.

A home from home. Very spacious and had everything required for self catering holiday. Only small house-keeping gripe(s) - I think both kitchen and bathroom could benefit from deep clean. For example, under bathroom sink taps build up of residue/debris and wooden panelling under window. Kitchen tiles, behind sink, cutlery drawer and oven door, all sticky/spills. Hoover was choked full so we had to empty it, reluctantly. Lounge windows, both, need cleaning inside as nose prints/smears from previous occupants. Skirting needing a dust. Other than that, perfect and definitely recommend!

The reason is that there is great attention to detail, for instance good cutlery and kitchen facilities. The heating is effective and easily adjusted (it was a cold week). Very comfortable. There is free parking in the village and it was easy to park near the apartment (this could be explained better in the ads, I was worried about parking until we arrived). There is a great baker's very near too, ideal for packed lunches.
