Visit the pretty seaside village of The Isle of Whithorn (2.5 miles) with its friendly Inn and tearoom to enjoy. Explore the Machar s peninsula with pre historic Bronze and Iron Age sites, a beautiful, scenic area. Enjoy gin and whisky distilleries in the area and the award winning Five Kingdoms microbrewery. Wigtown (14 miles) with its excellent range of eateries, bespoke shops, and annual book festival is also well worth a visit.
