Further north is the incredible Glenluce Abbey, 17th century ruins well worth a look. Glenluce is also home to the Wigtownshire County Golf Course. The town of Stranraer is just a short drive away with a range of amenities as well as a museum, memorial tower and a train station allowing you to explore even more of Scotland.
