Guests have had positive experiences at Saffron, praising its cleanliness, helpful staff, and thoughtful touches. The caravan is well-equipped for a comfortable stay, though some guests noted the seating and mattresses could be improved. The remote location offers peace and tranquillity, with stunning views and nature. Facilities are generally good, but some outdoor amenities require attention. Overall, Saffron provides a welcoming and enjoyable stay.
Reviewers consistently mention the cleanliness of the caravan, describing it as 'very clean' and 'spotlessly clean', indicating high standards of hygiene and maintenance.
The caravan's location is appreciated for its peace and quiet, with stunning views and proximity to nature. However, its remoteness is noted, suggesting a car is necessary for access.
While the caravan is generally seen as comfortable and suitable, there are remarks about the seating and mattresses not being the most comfortable, which affects the overall comfort score.
Facilities are deemed great by some, but others point out issues such as a run-down kids' park, broken arcade machines, and a closed outdoor pool, indicating room for improvement.
Guests appreciate the thoughtful complimentary touches like tea, coffee, and biscuits. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

A Truly Kind and Welcoming Stay at Burrowhead Caravan Park We recently stayed at Burrowhead Caravan Park and were deeply impresed by the kindnes, courtesy, and genuine care shown by the staff. We would certainly return. A winter storm caused an unexpected power outage, and the team rallied immediately bringing heaters to keep us comfortable, calling in engineers straight away, and even offering to move us to another caravan when the isue couldnt be resolved at once. Their attitude throughout was calm, warm, and extremely accommodating. When we then experienced some difficulties that delayed our departure, the staff showed even further consideration by allowing us a few extra hours to sort everything out. We realise this may not have been posible during the busy summer months, and the gesture meant a great deal to us. Our caravan itself was spotlesly clean, with good Wi-Fi and all the basics one hopes for plus thoughtful complimentary touches such as tea, coffee, biscuits,
