Seascape is consistently praised for its cleanliness, modern decor, and stunning sea views. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to beaches, local amenities, and the train station, making it an ideal base for exploring. The thoughtful touches by the hosts, such as wine and chocolates, contribute to the welcoming atmosphere, although such gifts are not guaranteed. Some minor suggestions for improvement include the addition of a washing machine and softer beds, but these do not detract from the overall positive experience.
Reviewers frequently commend the property for its high standard of cleanliness, with numerous mentions of the spotless condition upon arrival. The attention to cleanliness is a standout feature in guest feedback.
The property's location is highly praised for its beautiful sea views, easy access to coastal paths, proximity to local shops, pubs, and the train station. Its central position is ideal for both local exploration and trips to Edinburgh.
Guests find the property comfortable, with a special mention of the lovely sofa and the quality of the shower. However, there are a few comments about the firmness of the beds and the absence of a washing machine, which slightly affects the comfort score.
The property is well-equipped with modern facilities, though some guests noted the lack of a washing machine and suggested additional items like a shower mat and a teapot. The high-quality facilities contribute to the overall positive experience, but these small gaps lead to a slightly lower score.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident in the provision of welcome gifts such as wine and chocolates, and the availability of cleaning materials and dishwasher tablets. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Well appointed, with everything provided. Fabulous views of the Firth of Forth. Easy access to shops & restaurants. Comfortable & everything clean. Would love to return sometime.

Despite initial concerns from other feedback it was very easy to find. There is a good parking space outside. The views across the Forth from the property are stunning. We certainly lucked out with the weather last week and were able to sit out on a few evenings after arriving back from our days out. The adjacent pub is quiet and worth visiting for a decent meal. You can hear the trains go by but soon get used to it. The nearby station has direct trains to Edinburgh (via the Forth Bridge), Dundee (via the Tay Bridge) and Perth as well as other local destinations so no need to use the car all the time. Inside, the property is clean and well equipped. The kitchen is modern with a cooker, microwave and dishwasher. The sofa and chairs are comfy and there is a smart TV with Netflix etc.. There is a washing machine in the 2nd bedroom which I guess was the only available space for it. The bathroom has a very good hot shower. The heating was fine when the evenings got cold. All in all a great place to stay in a nice village and would highly recommend it.

Lovely coastal walks good fishing off pier. A tad hard to find to begin with, a sign on wall of property would help. Local shops easily reached, try the food in The Ship restaurant excellent and well priced. Take ear plugs if you want to sleep by 5am seagulls have no mute button. Would defo to back.
