This charming and spacious one bedroom ground floor apartment of a Victorian period property is located in the peaceful village of Ladybank in the heart of the Howe of Fife. A short walk to the friendly local pub with food and entertainment, cafe and shops, and Ladybank railway station (said to be the oldest unaltered station in Scotland) with regular trains to Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth and beyond. Home to Ladybank Golf Club, an 18-hole heathland course of Championship status.
Located close to the picturesque and historic village of Falkland, Falkland Estate and the Lomond Hills, and a great central base for exploring Fife including St Andrews and the impressive Fife Coast with its many picturesque little fishing villages as well as the Fife Coastal path.
You will love staying and relaxing in this welcoming cottage. When you stay at Hollybank you will enter through the small patio garden and little sun porch. Through into a large living room leading to a bright fully equipped modern galley style kitchen. The bedroom is large and airy with an en-suite. Along the hall is the second toilet. Hollybank has a small library of local guidebooks and walking routes so bring your walking boots, be ready to explore and enjoy your holidays! Dogs are very welcome!

Lovely cottage to stay. Everything you would need is included. Scones, eggs and dog biscuits where a nice little touch. Good TV and WiFi. The weather was not great when we stayed, but the heating and hot water worked well. The bed was a little on the firm side for us, so maybe bring a memory foam mattress topper if you are used to a softer bed. A couple of minor things need some attention, such as the front gate was sticking, some silicone sealant in the bathroom needs refreshed, some minor corrosion to botton of kettel and to some taps and radiators. We didn't see any instructions for the induction hob, but found them online. All minor issues that in no way detracted from our stay. Parking is on a public street, but we were luck enough to get parked directly outside the cottage. My partner and I, plus our dog, would recommend it.
