We stayed at this wondeful little cottage in Scotland for 4 nights in March. We picked this cottage as we wanted to be a little bit out of the city but still within close driving distance and also because we are a family of 4 and we wanted 2 rooms or at least multiple beds. The two rooms were perfect. The room with one bed was small but large enough for two people and included a good sized closet for hanging clothes and shelves for folded clothes. Be aware that the bed is a double. It is large enough for two people but it will be tight for most averaged size people and small for larger people. The room with 2 beds is again slightly smaller but it has 2 twin beds and plently of room to move around in. The sitting room is large and doubles as a dining room. It is a perfect space to spend time together. The dining room table is back from the sitting space and does not clutter the room at all. There is a nice small wood fireplace that lights easily and stays lit for some time allowing a moderate amount of heat into the room. The hosts provided plenty of firewood for the days that we were there and they let us know that they had plenty more up at the main house should we need it. There is a small amart TV in this space as well. The kitchen has a modern oven/stove. There is a small refrigerator, dishwasher, and a small all in one washer and dryer for your clothing. There is wifi that is sufficient for normal daily activities but I can't imagine it would work with multiple people streaming or trying to game. Parking is on site right in front of the cottage past a small gate that you open by hand. We spoke with the hosts on a couple of occasions and they were exceptionally kind and helpful. All and all, we strongly recommend the property. If you;re looking for something posh and completely modern, this isn't for you. If you want something smaller, reserved, cute, quaint, a bit off of the beaten path down a few country roads, then this is for you. Thank you to the hosts for making our Holiday meaningful.

A clean, warm, welcoming cottage with a generously sized living room and all mod cons. We stayed in dark December so our daylight hours were short but we were pleased to find so many areas to walk within a short drive of the cottage (as well as from the door). It’s just ten minutes’ drive from the historic coastal village of Culross and maybe twenty minutes into Dunfermline if you need major shops and restaurants.Don’t be put off by the slightly scruffy cottage exterior - this place is lovely inside!

Lovely cosy cottage in rural location with beautiful art on display throughout, comfortable furniture and great garden for the dog. Parking was a bit tricky but figured it out. Would love to visit again!
