Perfect rural hideaway with roaring open fire, getaway from it all in secluded, rural woodland setting, yet close to Dunfermline.. Escape to this delightful detached holiday cottage, part of the Old Inzievar House estate which is situated in beautiful and natural parkland, on a working farm with varied livestock, about 6 miles west of Dunfermline and 1 mile from the historic Culross village and abbey on the Forth Estuary. Old Inzievar Cottage is in a delightfully secluded, rural woodland setting, surrounded by mature beech woods and rolling farmland. It has been lovingly furnished and benefits from a cosy open fire in the living room and a wood burner in the kitchen. South facing, it has its own private garden, a perfect hideaway for peace and tranquillity.
If you are feeling more energetic, try the owner’s tennis court near to Old Inzievar Cottage, or with permission from the owners, a tour of the restored walled garden can be arranged. This rural haven has excellent access to dog friendly walks, cycle paths, and outdoor amenities, but within easy access of Edinburgh 24 miles, Perth 33 miles and Stirling 18 miles. A charming cottage with plenty of space for four but still cosy for two. Great location for exploring the Firth of Forth and Culross. Plenty of local woodland walks too.

We had a fabulous time here. Just beautiful surroundings and close to so many wonderful places. Very well equipped and loved the open fire. We would encourage people to book this lovely cottage. It's just perfect 👌

We had a great stay at this beautiful cottage. The surroundings are peaceful and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. We loved the little welcome gifts and the opportunity to see the stunning walled garden. The kids loved getting to see horses, cows, chickens and the owners' lovely dogs. The location is great - very tucked away and quiet, but very easy to get to Dunfermline, Edinburgh and lots of other great places in surrounding area. Cottage itself was very well equipped with everything you need - even things like bin bags, a torch and an umbrella were provided which shows how much thought the owners put into everything. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Especially loved the open fireplaces in both the kitchen and living room, and that all wood for it was provided as well. Overall would not hesitate to recommend this place, and would gladly stay again. Excellent value for money too.
