This stylish detached house is situated in an elevated position on a working farm with views over the open countryside beyond. It enjoys a quiet location whilst being within easy reach of all restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. There are walks available direct from the door, while the ever popular Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is within easy reach with walking, cycling, fishing, golfing, horse riding and watersports on offer.

The city of Glasgow, with galleries, museums, historical attractions, superb nightlife and fantastic shopping, is a short drive or you can easily catch a train, whilst Stirling and Edinburgh are also easily accessible. Shop 1 miles, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

    A beautifully appointed cottage with everything you could possibly need and more. A perfect location to explore the central belt from, 5 minutes from the motorway but none of the noise. We loved it and so did our dogs.

    Lovely stay at thistlebank, everything you need within the property. Lovely enclosed garden ideal for dog and also lovely walks nearby. Would definitely stay again

    We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful cottage and will definitely be back . The cottage is cosy and warm with plenty of room for a family of 6 . The log burner is tremendous although we didn’t really need it on as it was so warm with the heating . We went as a party of 4 with 2 late visitors and a baby and this was no problem at all for Mairi who brought us a high chair , the cot bed was already there , with cot sheet ! Fabulous! The cottage feels like it’s miles away it’s tucked away but it’s so accessible to everything you may need by being so close to motorway .We go away for New year every year and this is by far the best cottage we have stayed in ,it was fabulous 👌just to add the local pub is definitely worth a visit too friendly staff and good food .
