I booked the lodge for a surprise party for my husband’s birthday, it was perfect, beautiful setting right along the River Beauly. Plenty space and well laid out for entertaining. Kitchen is a cook’s dream, very well equipped with everything that you need for your stay. I love entertaining and this was a great space for it, lovely big dining table looking out onto the river. Lots of lovely walks and very near to the pretty village of Beauly and all is shops etc.The bedrooms were very spacious, five with en-suites and the beds extremely comfortable with lovely bedding and pillows to ensure a great night’s sleep.I was very sad to leave Crives Lodge as it was simply fabulous and hope to return in the future.

Superbly located cottage, very large and well equipped.Quite isolated so very quiet and private. The river runs just outside the back of the house with a series of small falls and is very fast moving .As there is no fence and quite a steep drop to the waters edge would not recommend this place for families with young children as would be dangerous if left to play alone. The road up to the property when wet is quite slippery and needs repair due to large potholes so watch your suspension! But apart from that the place is superb for a large or extended family break with all you'll ever need for a relaxing and together time.
