Woodford in Boat of Garten is a well-equipped cottage praised for its great location and thoughtful host, Bernadette. Guests enjoyed the local amenities, including a village store and restaurants, and found it ideal for family holidays with nearby attractions. The interior is better than its exterior suggests, offering a comfortable stay with some minor issues noted.
The property was described as perfectly clean upon arrival by one guest, but another noted dirty windows and a need for a cleaner microwave, suggesting room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its convenience, proximity to local attractions, and the availability of a village store and restaurants, making it a special place for guests.
While the property is generally found to be comfortable and well-decorated, some guests mentioned uncomfortable sofas and issues with the heating system.
The property is well-equipped with a kitchen that has manuals for everything, and two en suite bathrooms. However, there were difficulties with operating the combi microwave and a mention of confusing instructions for an app.
The host, Bernadette, is noted for being helpful and communicative, enhancing the guest experience. However, there is no mention of gifts, so it is not possible to assess thoughtfulness in this context.

Cottages were confusing with their instructions. Telling me that I needed to download an app but not which one. When i was put in touch with the owner Bernadette things went very smoothly with responsive communication. The house is very nice, well equipped and in a good location. Would recommend on the basis of this and Bernadette but not Cottages

We enjoyed our stay and recommend it. It was great to have 2 en suite bathrooms and we enjoyed a roaring fire in the living room. The kitchen was well equipped with manuals for everything. The shop next door had a great selection of fresh produce and everything we needed for our stay.
