What a fabulous week, whilst the weather was hit and miss, the property was simply perfect. We had looked at the NC500 but didn't fancy moving every few nights so decided upon a west coast week and east coast week with a base so we could treck around and we couldn't have picked better. It was peaceful and so well equipped, and the little touches like the fresh flowers, the biscuits, the fresh herbs on the window made us feel so welcome. The building itself was a perfect mix of homely yet a majestic step back in time. The location was great, we were 12 mins from Wick and the pubs/supermarkets and petrol stations, yet when we had the windows open in the evening it was silent other than wildlife. The property had all the practical things you need plus great WiFi connectivity so we could research the area. Please stop looking and book this property you won't regret it.
