Very nice and very clean house. Woods right across the road, pub with great food in walking distance. Town with shops and bars in 30 mins drive, mountains etc within 40mins drive. Great holiday, great accommodation.They are rarely mentioned but the cleaner deserves one here. Absolutely spotless. Amazing job well done.

Had a great holiday staying in Rowan Cottage with our two grandsons and dog Maple. The cottage was perfectly situated for walks in the lovely pine woods of the Carrbridge Plantation, the Spar shop was only a short walk away, and the boys really enjoyed a day at the Landmark Adventure Park, also only a short walk away. We also used the cottage as a base to visit the Cairngorm Mountain Resort, the Strathspey Railway and RSPB Insh Marshes locally, plus the beautiful beach at Lossiemouth East, which was only just over an hour away and voted the best beach they had ever visited!

We booked Rowan Cottage through cottages.com. The cottage itself is beautiful and very spacious. The garden at the side and rear of the cottage is lovely, and there is plenty of seating outside. We saw a good selection of birds that come to the feeders, including a greater spotted woodpecker.The cottage had all the amenities that we could need, and it was in a perfect location in a quiet cul-de-sac. We loved the location as it is near to the Cairngorms National Park and Aviemore, so there was plenty to see and do.
