The house is in a great location to explore the Black Isle and beyond, with lots of fantastic villages, beaches and walks within easy reach of a short (ish) car ride. The Culbokie Inn, is immediately next door & was occasionally noisy when patrons were outside smoking in the car park & departing at the end of the night. The house is well equipped with plenty of modern kitchen appliances, cutlery and crockery. Only let down by not having a simple 'quick start/how to operate' the appliances. Instead, renters are forced to navigate through manufacturers instruction manuals. The beds and pillows are very comfy, only let down by poor quality duvets that didn't fit the cover and fitted sheets that kept slipping off the corners of the mattres. A minor point, but frustrating when waking up in a cover/fitted sheet knot that we had to re-do every morning. Both sofas were very soft/worn and caused a numb bum after only 10mins. Nice house, let down slightly considering the cost.
