Great holiday and site. Single beds in caravan were a bit small for our teenagers. The beds were very comfy and thx caravan well set out, extremely clean and well equipped.

The caravan was clean enough however when I lost my glasses on Sunday I had to have a good look about for them. I found a clean nappy (thank goodness) and a kids toy which makes me question how thorough the cleaning team had been inbetween let’s. The mattresses in the caravan where abysmal, I have came home with many aches and pains. I made 2 trips to the Restaurant area, first to buy some takeaway Costa coffee and 2nd to eat. 1st trip - I entered the restaurant on the afternoon of Sunday 26th October to buy Costa coffee. When the waitress approached she looked me up/down and was very off hand as if she wasn’t interested in serving me. She then told me the Costa coffee machine was broken but she could Make me a normal coffee which I refused as I had a kettle in my caravan. On my 2nd trip (evening of Sunday 26th October) we went with our dog with the understanding that the restaurant was dog friendly. It’s not! They do offer a table in a corridor between the entertainment centre and the restaurant. We sat there feeling like an after thought while other guests strolled back and forward without masks on (some put them on to enter the restaurant/bar but walked past our table before doing so) The food was average, service was awful apart from the male waiter and the waitress with tartan mask on, they where friendly and efficient. The waitress from my first visit was still working, carrying and handing us drinks from her hands rather than a tray. You have to wonder about Covid regulations. The bill was excessive for what we actually ate, considering the terrible service and the table in a busy corridor. IF we return to Grannies Heilan hame we will NOT be eating here! I’m so sorry for the terrible review, I really want to be more positive but if I’m being honest I can’t.
