The Red Cuillins cast a shadow over Broadford, the second-largest village on Skye, which extends along Broadford Bay's southern shore. Elgol, a little settlement nearby, boasts "the finest vista in Britain"—a view of the Cuillin Ridge's terminus across Loch Scavaig.
