The National Trust Scotland Visitor Centre and Glenfinnan Monument are well worth a visit.  The 60ft high monument offers breathtaking views over Loch Shiel.  Boat trips on Loch Shiel give you the opportunity to see golden eagles, white-tailed eagles, red deer, and a wide variety of other wildlife. 

Torr Caladh is a great base to explore the area.  Fort William, the outdoor capital of Europe is only a short drive away as is the famous Neptune’s Staircase on the Caledonain Canal.  Travelling further west you have the opportunity to enjoy the white sands of Morar and the spec. . .
