Several guests noted that the cottage was clean and tidy on arrival, but a number of reviews mention issues such as grubby kitchens, mould in bathrooms, and areas missed by cleaners. Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Grantown itself and the wider area is wonderful to explore - places like Culloden, Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness easily doable in a day from here, or stay closer and appreciate the forests (especially on a hot day). The cottage itself is wonderful - extremely clean, pretty much everything you could need in terms of household appliances etc, and the luxury of two bathrooms. Some of the styling/appliances may be a bit old in style but that adds to the charm, all the appliances were clean and worked, and we loved the decor. First time here but I doubt it will be our last and will definitely check to see if available before heading to the highlands again - thank you!

We had a fantastic time in Grantown staying here. Lovely house with good facilities, secure garden for the dog and lots of little touches like games that made it feel like home. We would definitely stay again.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is a lovely cottage in a great location. The living room and the bedrooms have been done-up to a fairly high standard. The kitchen is a little dated but fully functional. In the first visit the kitchen was quite grubby but on this visit it was much better. Everything in the kitchen felt cleaner. We will be staying again in the future!
