Find your way to the cottage before parking in the ample private parking space, admiring the pretty exterior of this end-terrace cottage and the shared lawned garden to the right. Head inside to discover the sitting room on the first left containing two sofas, a woodburning stove to light on cool evenings, and a TV. Continue through the property to find a handy cloakroom with basin and WC, and a pretty kitchen/diner, with lovely pale blue theme, housing an electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer box, a dishwasher & washing machine. The dining table sits by the patio doors opening out onto the decking, with more plush seating next to it so you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Take drinks out onto the decking in summer, or serve up an alfresco evening meal on the patio below where a bistro set can be found, whilst your pets will enjoy running around on the large communal lawn. Take the stairs up to the first floor to find the first bedroom, home to a zip/link super-king-size bed, perfect for accommodating two friends sharing or a couple, served by an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom boasts a double bed and a TV, with the best feature being the large picture window facing out to the stunning scenery of the Cairngorms mountains in the distance, a perfect view to wake up to, with a shower room on this floor too. Stay local and find within minutes of the cottage the Grantown on Spey golf club which sits along the edge of Anagach Woods and can be accessed through the fairway, wood trails are suitable for all on the various pathways and trail go to Cromdale, down to the river Spey the old Spey Bridge leading into the Grantown East Highland Heritage Centre. Get outside and try some fun outdoor activities, whether just with your group or with a local activity organiser with plenty of amazing fishing spots in the nearby lochs and the River Spey, beautiful walking country, and idyllic cycling routes. Venture down to Aviemore to enjoy some Scottish Highland skiing, and visit the historic Aviemore Ring Cairn and Stone Circle while you're there. Grantown Museum is a great place to learn about the town's history, while the imposing Ballindalloch Castle and Gardens provides a fascinating and scenic day out. Plenty of picturesque walking areas can be found within an easy drive, including Rothiemurchus woodland estate, home to an abundance of wildlife and a castle, as well as Glenmore Forest Park. Set off on a road trip down to the incredible Balmoral Castle, the Queen's Highland residence around an hour's drive away, where you can visit the grounds, gardens and exhibitions.
