We chose this location as a base camp for our intended ascent of Ben Nevis as its reasonably close. We found the accommodation to be excellent value for money, it was clean and tidy and had everything we could want, there was even a bottle of wine and fresh flowers left for us. As a bonus, the Harry Potter train runs past the bottom of the garden 4 times a day.

We had a great stay at Chestnut Cottage. It was a great location for getting to Fort William and exploring the highlands. the cottage was clean and had everything we needed, we would stay there again!
