About this property
Fort William 3 miles. A pretty little gem of a cottage forming part of the owners house yet totally private. Situated in a secluded spot, with its own parking space and private courtyard garden, this neat, well-presented cottage is ideal for a couple, whether it be a romantic week, a honeymoon or simply a much needed get-away-from-it-all break. With the accommodation all on ground floor level there is a spacious open plan living area with well-equipped kitchen, dining table and sitting space with comfortable chairs and views out through the double doors to the garden. A generously proportioned double bedroom is situated just off the living space and to the rear is a bright shower room complete with power shower and a pulley for drying clothes.
The small private garden is a bit of a sun trap and with its seating areas is a great place to enjoy some outside dining whilst enjoying the views to the north face of Ben Nevis. Torlundy is a handy location being just a short drive into the vibrant town of Fort William with its excellent range of facilities, including a distillery! As one would expect this is a cyclist and walkers paradise but of course the impressive Nevis Range is very close by and ideal for both climbers and skiers! However, the area is wonderful for touring and exploring and guests should follow the famous Road to the Isles westwards through Glenfinnan and onto Mallaig where the ferry crosses to the Isle of Skye.
Perhaps take the road south through Fort William and visit atmospheric Glencoe and its visitor centre, a great day out! Whatever you do, this area offers so much and this sweet and homely cottage makes a holiday in the highlands unforgettable. EPC Rating: Band F
Fort William situated on the banks of Loch Linnhe is the main town in the Western Highlands. The town offers a number of shops and pubs, plus the area offers walking opportunities, including one that takes you up to the top of Ben Nevis.

Well furnished. A little noisy from the upstairs house but that didn't bother us. Owner delightful.

The owners have put much love and thought into this holiday let. Perfect, we loved it. Secure garden for the dogs, lots to do and see close by. There is some noise from upstairs but that didnât bother us, we hear our neighbours next door at home. We would love to return, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
