The spacious open plan kitchen/diner creates a welcoming hub for leisurely breakfasts and celebratory suppers, as well as a retreat with a good book or a family board game. The sitting room, complete with a woodburning stove and views of the mountains from the window seat, provides a wonderful setting for evenings spent recounting the day's adventures or watching a film. Throughout the property, underfloor heating brings a sense of warmth, while large windows frame the magnificent Highland landscape beyond. The bedrooms have been carefully arranged to suit families and groups, with two spacious upper-floor rooms benefitting from en-suite shower rooms, including a superb super-king-size bedroom with its own balcony overlooking the loch.

A path through the garden leads to a gate onto a public path giving access towards one of the remote local beaches (approx. 200 meters) where braver guests can partake in some wild swimming. Roshven sits along the spectacular Road to the Isles, placing some of the Highlands' most iconic attractions within easy reach. A welcoming community-owned Inn and shop in Glenuig is less than 4 miles west. The West Highlands, and in particular Moidart and Ardnamurchan, contain the UK’s last wilderness areas.
Take advantage and book up a bushcraft day conveniently located in Roshven and experience canoeing from the beach near the house or a climb up Roshven mountain. Head south west towards Acharacle and see the changing landscape and expanse of Moidart. Explore Tioram Castle and afterwards visit the tea and gift shop in Acharacle. Head north to Arisaig, discover the historic Prince's Cairn on the shores of Loch nan Uamh, or walk along the silver-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters of Morar which offer views towards the Small Isles or continue to the bustling fishing port of Mallaig for island ferries, wildlife cruises and the famous steam train.
