Great location. Comfortable house, as described. Bedroom door handle badly broken, and it took us a while to find the kitchen light switch ( hidden behind the fridge)

We stayed in this cottage from 12-19th September. We had a lovely week away. The good things about this house is that it has it's own drive, and within 10-15 minutes easy walk into town. The shower is really good, great pressure and lovely and warm, best shower in any of the properties we stayed in over the years. Unfortunately what lets this property down is the sofas, they are really uncomfortable but can be overlooked as it's just a base. Also didn't have a mirror that you could do your hair and make up in and check how you look before your go out. For us this was no biggie as we eat out every day but there's not enough bowls or glasses but some people may find this an issue. Sadly the TV died whilst we were there and were left without a working TV for a couple of nights. I did let the owner know but unfortunately he lives about 5 hours away and his cleaner was in hospital, so no one could sort it for us. Would we come back, yes we would consider it for the prime location but would need a working tv and remember to bring a mirror with me.

door handle in bedroom needs replacing. cupboard doors loose in kitchen. gutter over outside door leaking information on bins and working cooker and tv. would not recommend staying at this cottage.
