Loch Bunachton, a 20 minute walk away is home to a 55 acre natural loch, holding pike, perch, Artic char and wild brown trout. The scenery is fantastic and the area is home to a variety of wildlife, including ospreys. This Highland cottage affords visitors the peace and tranquillity of being in the country, yet is only 20 minutes away (10 miles) from Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Aviemore and the Cairngorms National Park is 30 miles to the south. Also take the B851 scenic route on the south side of Loch Ness to Fort Augustus, and Culloden Visitor Centre is about 10 miles to the east.
