We loved our week in this beautiful property. It is spotlessly clean & has everything you could possibly need & more. It is very comfortable & spacious & the bed was extremely comfortable. Some property mattresses are not the best quality but Glen View was was the most comfortable mattress. A great night's sleep 👌 The kitchen had absolutely everything you could possibly want. Roz gave us a lovely Welcome pack, plus detergent pods for the washing machine & dishwasher. Plus bird feed The woodland garden was amazing. Lots of different birds came every day to eat the feed. The position of the property is excellent. So peaceful & surrounded by trees. Very close to Loch Ness & Urquhart Castle. Roz is a lovely friendly lady who made us very welcome. We can Highly Recommend Glen View for an excellent holiday.

When we first arrived, the owner was at the property. She kindly let us arrive early, as we had been on a sleeper train all night with no sleep for any of us, so we were exhausted. She made us feel very welcome and explained a few things. The welcome bottle of fizz, bread, milk and CD’s was a lovely gesture. The accommodation had everything we needed - I can’t think of anything that was missing. One frustrating thing was the coffee machine. Mostly only water came out with the tiniest shot of coffee at the start. It was like drinking light brown water. The machine definitely pierced the capsule on the bottom end but there appeared to be a lack of piercing in the foil end, hence why we couldn’t get a proper cup of coffee. We gave up on that after three attempts. Perhaps it just needs a clean somewhere. The TV in the double room upstairs wouldn’t work either. I followed the instructions, but no go. These are not overly important though, they are just luxuries! I enjoyed watching the birds and I kept the seed feeder stocked up. We don’t get coal tits in the south, so it was lovely watching them everyday. It was so peaceful too - no noisy boy racers popping their exhausts - so nice to have a break from that!!! The forest trails are a short car ride away. Drumnadrochit is only four miles down the road. It has the lochness experience - that’s a great visit, also we booked a lochness cruise from Nessieland. That was a lovely, peaceful experience. From Inverness, we booked the wildlife cruise. We saw the dolphins right up close, as they swam alongside the boat. A fab two hour boat ride where we also saw lots of different seabirds. I saw my very first gannet! The accommodation is conveniently located for all of this. I thoroughly recommend. The owner is very helpful and will respond to messages if you need anything.

We had a lovely time staying at Glen View. The house was clean, spacious and well equipped, the beds were very comfortable! The location is good, just a few miles outside Drumnadrochit means you can head back to Loch Ness to explore places around the loch. Heading away from Loch Ness takes you to beautiful waterfalls and walks. We would highly recommend the house, but note that if visiting with small children or dogs there is no enclosed area outside so as soon as you open either of the outside doors, they are not contained.
