The accommodation has bright, spacious rooms and is furnished and equipped to a high standard. The main living room has a large picture window which looks out across the adjoining Gruinard Bay to the Summer Isles beyond. There is a bright modern kitchen/dining room and two attractively presented bedrooms, one en-suite. Completely enclosed and backing onto open hills, it is great for children and pets. The property is situated on a quiet no-through road that leads to the quaint hamlet of Mellon Udrigle, with its beautiful white sandy beach. There are numerous other beautiful sandy bays closeby, including the renowned Gruinard Bay. There is a small jetty a few yards away from the cottage from which to launch small boats. Kildonan is now one property, your party will be the only guests.

Fantastic outlook, lovely comfortable accommodation. Although not a problem for us I think the dining table could be a bit of a squeeze for 4 or 6 people.

Cottage very cozy, clean and comfortable. Stunning views and great beaches nearby. Plenty wildlife about. Occasional visit by deer but have also seen seals, eagles and falcons. This was our third visit and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The cottage is in a wonderful location with a breathtaking view across the loch to the mountains beyond. It is very peaceful and quiet and just a few miles along the road outside there is a lovely sandy beach which (in September) was almost deserted. The area has a mixture of mountains, beaches, and lovely places to get a snack or meal. The local shop is well stocked and there are good small shops within a few miles.
