Molalatau Lodge is an exceptional place to stay. Highly recommend and we will return. Snowed in for the week, luckily took all essential food requirements with us. What a great place to be snowed in at! A 4 wheel drive would have been good to have in these conditions and we didn’t manage to drive up to Lodge. The few locals we met were very friendly and a lovely couple helped transport the food and luggage to the house. I think the snow added to the stunning views and the adventure of it all. Definitely a 5* week!

What an amazing property! A beautiful building in a beautiful setting. Very spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. The views are fantastic and when it snowed it was a true Winter wonderland. Heather, the housekeeper, was very friendly and helpful, even before we arrived. The only improvement I would suggest is installation of a tumble dryer.
