Just yards from the beach this smart and spacious stone cottage would be ideal for a family group or group of friends who wants to enjoy the stunning coastal location in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. There is a lovely large open plan kitchen/dining room with a seating area around a woodburning stove and this is the heart of the home. Visitors will gather here while someone prepares a meal and others simply enjoy a glass of wine and chat! The sitting room is on the opposite side of the hall and is very comfortabe room to simply relax in and watch TV. The bedrooms are both on the upper floor along with the shower room, all enjoying sea views. A most attractive family bathroom is on the ground floor. To the side the private patio is a bit of a sun trap and makes a very nice place for a summer BBQ. However from your front door just a few steps will take you to the grassy slope that leads up to the beach and the sea. This location will suit guests of all ages and the clean beach at Nairn is very family friendly. Situated on the Moray Firth Coast visitors will proably see the famous Dolphins as they pass by and there are many local boat trips that will take you out to ensure you see them at close quarter. The north east coastline makes a perfect area for exploration but you could easily pick up the Malt Whisky Trail and enjoy the beauty of Speyside along with a visit to the many distilleries along the way. The local services in Nairn are excellent with nice restaurants and good local shops including a supermarket. Its all here in buckets loads and this cottage will be simply perfect.
A seaside town dating back to Victorian times, Nairn is not too far from Inverness. The village offers beaches where dolphin spotting is a regular tourist activity. There is also an array of shops, pubs and restaurants and you can even enjoy a round of gold on the villages golf course.
