Now a holiday cottage, it has been equipped and furnished to a good standard to ensure as comfortable and relaxing a holiday as possible. Only 7 miles from Inverness and 2 miles from Castle Stuart Golf Links, which has hosted the Scottish Open golf tournament. Mountain biking on some of the many forest trails, golf at some wonderful Scottish courses, sea trips and watersports either on the Moray coast or Loch Ness are just some of the many activities available. There are many historical sites nearby such as Culloden Battlefield, Fort George and Cawdor Castle. Try the Whiskey Trail along the Moray and Dornoch coasts. Shop 1 mile, pub serving food 3 miles.

We spent a week at Craigellachie Cottage for Christmas and had a really lovely holiday. It's so peaceful. The cottage itself was very clean and warm on our arrival. Also well equipped and had everything we needed (although the knives in the kitchen were a challenge as none were very sharp). The settees and beds were very comfortable which is always a plus for us. As we were spending quite a lot of time at the cottage we decided to buy a Fire Stick for ourselves for £20 to plug into the TV so that we could log into our Apps, giving us more choice over the Christmas period. We also bought some suet feeders and enjoyed watching the birds in the garden. Would definitely recommend the cottage. We would love to visit again ourselves.

This cottage is perfect if you are looking to escape. Shops 20 min drive. Great beach walks and forest walks all a reasonable drive away too. Ideal for a couple and great for taking your dog. Everything you need is in the cottage it’s cosy and has a great wood burning stove.
