This charming sleeper-built cottage from the 1900s welcomes up to six guests and offers direct access to stunning walking and biking trails. Nestled in the breathtaking Cairngorms National Park, it is a perfect base for families and outdoor enthusiasts eager to explore dramatic landscapes and diverse wildlife. Adventure awaits just beyond the doorstep, where you can climb Ben Macdui, visit the Highland Wildlife Park, or step back in time at the Highland Folk Museum.

Watersports lovers can head to Loch Insh or the sandy shores of Loch Morlich for sailing, canoeing, paddleboarding, and windsurfing, with expert tuition available for beginners. Golfers can tee off at Newtonmore, where you might also catch a thrilling game of shinty. And the famous Newtonmore Highland Games in August and the Hogmanay fireworks and torchlit procession promise unforgettable experiences.

A short drive leads to the neighbouring town of Kingussie, home to a scenic golf course, local shops and the ruins of Ruthven Barracks - as well as Highland horseback adventures.     We loved Broom Cottage. It was cosy and clean and had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and accommodating. It's in a nice little town with shops and places to eat. The downstairs bedroom bed was very comfy and the shower was fantastic. Would love to stay there again.

    Everything anyone could need. Very clean comfortable and a lovely welcome pack. Excellent amenities within easy reach. Plenty of communication from the owners nothing to much trouble. Definitely recommend the cottage we had a fabulous week away with 3 generations of the family.
