Grounds with garden furniture (shared with other properties on-site). 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all time (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. The open-plan living space is light and welcoming, with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a comfortable living that opens out through patio doors onto a wraparound decking area—perfect for morning coffees or evening relaxation. There’s a grassy open space in front, ideal for children to play safely and dogs to roam freely.
Finished to a very high standard throughout, Byre Lodge offers everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. Set in the Cairngorms National Park, there’s no shortage of activities nearby. Enjoy walks or bike rides directly from your doorstep, or explore local paths through forest, moorland, and river trails. The Centre of Scotland stone is just a short distance away, marking a unique geographical landmark.
Popular local attractions include the Highland Folk Museum, Landmark for a family day out, the Wildcat Trail, and pony trekking in Kingussie. Visit Loch Insh for water sports, go wildlife watching, or take a scenic drive through Glen Feshie or up to Aviemore.
In and around the area there are Whisky & Gin distilleries, all with a visitor’s centre.
