The situation of the lodge is so peaceful, there is so much to do around the area; the central point of Scotland is very close by as is Newtonmore, Kingussie & Aviemore. . All on the

The open-plan living space is light and welcoming, with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a comfortable living that opens out through patio doors onto a wraparound decking area—perfect for morning coffees or evening relaxation. There’s a grassy open space in front, ideal for children to play safely and dogs to roam freely.

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at The Byre. It is a great property and incredibly clean and tidy. The location was on a camping/caravan site however everything was very spaced out and there was no noise at all. We saw red squirrels every morning and red deer every night from the lodge. We took our dog and 3 year old and the facilities were amazing for both of them. We did lots of things in the local area as well as travelling further afield, it is a great central location for both West & East coasts. Suzanne gave us lots of information before we arrived and checked that everything was okay on the day we travelled and when we had a power cut which was great especially as she was away herself. We would love to return and imagine the property would be fantastic for a cozy winter getaway.

We had a wonderful stay with our 2 grandchildren. The Byre was warm, comfy and immaculately clean. The site is well set out and not too far from amenities. Maybe 10 minutes drive at most, with walks on your doorstep. We saw a lot of wildlife, deer, eagles, buzzards, many small garden birds and my favourite, the red squirrel. All from the window. The lodge is close to many attractions. Less than han an hour's drive for Landmark Forest Adventure, half hour to The mountain Train. And Newtonmore and Kingussie have plenty to do and see. There was so much to do we didn't get chance so will have to go back to do the rest. 😊
