Beautiful place, lovely walks to the mountains on your doorstep, did not discover these until the Friday, these are stunning. The driveway is very steep as stated and the place could do with a second check over before guests visit as some things did not work or were broken. When I called about issues things were attempted to be rectified if it was possible to do so.

Forasmuch as I would dearly love to give this property 5 stars, the downstairs bathroom is its one big let down. It would most definitely benefit from a walk-in shower. One person in our party was elderly and had the lovely downstairs bedroom, but the bathroom was just totally unsuitable for her. However, having said that, the property itself is amazing. So spacious and seating places everywhere, both inside and out. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the utility room has an extra fridge and freezer for larger families. The bedrooms are gorgeous and I loved the decor in every one of them. There is a huge library with a wonderful selection of books and DVD's. A lovely large table in the kitchen which we loved and used all the time and another one in the dining room. The area itself is amazing. We loved Newtonmore and the wonderful friendly people and community spirit. I hope they never lose that. The place is immaculate and they take great pride in keeping the area clean, weed free and litter free. The Highland Folk Museum is a must, as is the Highland Wildlife Park. We visited the Clan McPherson museum on a rainy day and were so glad we did. Such an interesting place with all its history. The location of Treetops itself is perfect, right in the centre, but far enough back for absolute peace and quiet. The Wildcat Trail is an absolute hoot, and you spend half your time looking out for the cats in gardens, or windows or indeed anywhere. There is one on the duck pond which is another lovely circular walk. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Lovely house and garden. We had a family reunion and had plenty of space for games and children’s activities. The kitchen was well appointed having everything we needed. The garden was great and the house within easy walking distance of the town.
