We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in the highlands.The location is truly special, surrounded by beautiful scenery and the peaceful atmosphere of this area. It felt authentic and full of character, making it a lovely place to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty of this part of the world and see nature close up.The setting was perfect for exploring and taking in the stunning views and the beach here was perfect in all weathers. A memorable stay in a beautiful part of the Highlands.

Excellent place for what we wanted. Lovely and clean and in a great location, very easy to find but could do with house number on gate to make more visible from road if arriving in dark or rain. However can understand some of comments from others, towels, could do with some new ones, the bed in downstairs room did have issues, think some slats possibly broken but we did sleep well in it. Would say not suitable for 6 adults if want to sit comfortably in lounge or at table. 4 adults and a couple of children fine. Also would remove welcome pack from details as a bottle of prosecco is not what some people would call a welcome pack. But for the two of us and our dogs it was perfect to tour the parts of NC500 not done before. Owner was very easy to contact and got back quickly, but we had no issues.

This place is remote; think remote and then think a bit more remote....and that is the whole point, because it is very remote and outrageously beautiful. Probably the most peaceful place we've ever been.You have to appreciate that this is an old croft with over 100 years of history behind it, it is clean and comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your holiday.The surrounding area is absolutely spectacular, I just can't describe its beauty.....many remote and unpopulated beaches nearby to explore.Good base from which to have a drive up to Durness, Balnakeil and Smoo.Definitely also recommend some goodies from Highland Charcuterie, which is very close by.We had an awesome week :)
