As a family of 6 it was great to see that the spare rooms had single beds and were all en-suite, normally most places put doubles in every room which we have always found strange so this was fantastic for the kids. The cottage was clean, well laid out and had a washing machine and dishwasher. The wifi was excellent and a pleasant welcome pack awaited us. The double bed was small and the mattress not brilliant, this is a personal opinion but we have had way better when travelling, we have also had worse but the comfort level for us was not what we hoped for. The kitchen could have been better equipped, 6 people need more pans, plates and crockery. The showers were good, plenty of room in the bedrooms and all in all the cottage was very pleasant. The walking in the area was brilliant, within an hour of the cottage were many brilliant walks, scenery and things to see/do.

Great communication from the owners when I contacted them about our arrival and early departure. I went with my 80yr old Dad, we holiday in The Highlands for a yearly holiday together, he was very impressed with the cottage, said “ it’s the best cottage we’ve stayed in” which is a rare compliment from a hard to please man.

It was clean and warm, if we had problem, Ross came and sorted it in a very quick time. We will definitely book again.
