Guests say

7 Greep is a beautifully situated cottage on the Isle of Skye, offering stunning views, tranquillity, and a cosy atmosphere. Guests consistently praise its well-equipped kitchen, comfortable interiors, and the abundance of wildlife and walking opportunities nearby. While the remote location is a highlight for many, some mention minor issues with cleanliness, heating, and internet connectivity. The property is ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat, with most visitors eager to return and recommend it to others.

Most guests found the cottage clean and well-presented, though a few noted that a deeper clean would be beneficial and mentioned some wear and tear. Overall, cleanliness is generally good but with occasional lapses.

The location is widely celebrated for its breathtaking views, seclusion, and proximity to nature. Its remoteness is appreciated by those seeking peace, though guests note the access road can be bumpy and amenities are distant.

The cottage is described as cosy, comfortable, and warm, especially with the wood burner. Some guests experienced issues with heating, particularly upstairs, but most found the beds and living spaces inviting and relaxing.

Facilities are generally praised, with a well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful amenities. However, some guests reported missing items, tired crockery, and occasional maintenance issues with heating and appliances.

Guests appreciated the provision of firewood and well-stocked essentials, though a welcome basket was suggested and is not guaranteed. Some minor items like washing up liquid and bin liners were noted as missing.

The only minor issues was the door locks front and side are difficult to use and the WIFI is weak, but given the location that is understandable.Great location, space and accommodation

The cottage is in a stunning location, located down a long bumpy path on its own peninsula. There are no other buildings within possibly half a mile, with stunning views out onto the loch. The fixtures and fittings are of good quality and the cottage is well maintained and warm despite the fact we caught the worst of the Scottish weather whilst we were there. A small welcome basket of some description would have been appreciated given how far we are from civilisation. We came prepared because we've stayed in locations like this before but that might catch some visitors out.If you're visiting during the winter months, you'll definitely need to visit the little garage up the road to buy additional sacks of logs.I'd definitely stay here again and it's highly recommended.
