Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. On The Beach is superb modern detached house situated right on the seafront in the pretty fishing village of Balintore. This stunning architect-designed house will appeal to families and groups wishing to enjoy the ultimate beach holiday. The main living room is on the first floor. It has its own balcony, maximizing the stunning panoramic views across the sea and along the sandy beach. There are four generously proportioned bedrooms (three with en-suite facilities, and a separate family bathroom). The spacious master bedroom also has a dressing room. The downstairs kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with all modern appliances and the dining room is separate. Balintore and the adjoining seaside village of Shandwick are completely unspoilt and provide idyllic seaside holidays without the crowds. Dolphins, seals, porpoises and a wide variety of seabirds are seen in the locality. The village has a local store, pub, café and restaurant, all within a short walk from the property. Further facilities are available in the nearby town of Tain.

After hiring well over 100 Scottish cottages, chalets and cabins over the last 40 years or so, this does rate in every way as one of, if not the best. From our 4 year old granddaughter to our 93 year old father in law plus inbetweeners - On The Beach has everything and is close to other areas of interest. Even at the end of October the beach was a great feature and most of us got wet through everyday- happy to know that the warmth and comfort of the house awaited. The owners too were very helpful and friendly and we’ll definitely be back as soon as we can.

Fantastic location, we had a great week at On the Beach. Stunning views and excellent accommodation. We've booked for next year which is a first for us. I have no hesitation in recommending On the Beach.
