Very clean, well presented topped of with a warm welcome from a local man who knows his way around the Highlands and is happy to guide you away from busy tourist places if you don't want to experience them. Or which ones are good value for money. Lovely spot, can't recommend it enough.

A fantastic holiday cottage in a lovely location. Well equipped and prepared. Hosts Simon and Yvonne were great - arrived with some local honey, but also helped us fixed our broken down car and even drove us to pick up a rental. Could not have been more accommodating. Balintore beach a short walk/drive away. Lovely pubs in the village.

Couldn’t recommend staying at Taigh Fiodha enough!! Beautiful lodge in a beautiful location. We stayed for 1 week and we wished we could have been there longer. We took our dog with us and it couldn’t have been more perfect for him. Simon was an excellent host and met us on arrival, gave us recommendations, popped by through the week to check in and then wished us cheerio when leaving. Shandwick beach is an absolute must and just on the door step. Thank you for an amazing week on the beautiful East Coast of Scotland (hidden beauty) we absolutely will be back!!
