The cottage is in a stunned location but could do with a complete overhaul to reach it's potential when we arrived at the cottage it was very cold we noticed due to the storms the wood burning stove was damaged and waiting for repairs the only heat source was the oil heating which ran out of oil after a few days resulting in no heating or hot water in the middle of a yellow weather warning not ideal the guy from the property management company was excellent 10/10 and drove out in atrocious conditions to try and fix the problem on the plus side it resulted in some very cold swimming. Skye is a very special place and to see nature's might and ferocity in such a dramatic landscape was a treat

We knew the weather would be bad and chose a property with a fire because we would be stuck inside. The property is definitely a low 3 star with pet hair everywhere and spider webs all over the ceilings. The beds were however very comfortable and the property manager was friendly and dropped us off proper baking trays so we could at least cook a proper Christmas dinner we were appreciative of that. Skye was beautiful but we won't be back at this property.

The inside of the property had clearly not been cleaned well, the kitchen was not stocked as promised, and there was barely any toilet tissue.
