On Scotland's north-eastern coast, on either side of the Burn of Buckie, is the harbour town of Buckie, which looks out onto the lovely Moray Firth. It is an excellent beach base from which to explore this magnificent region of Scotland because it boasts a variety of stores and pubs. Regular boat journeys that give the chance to see bottlenose dolphins and a variety of sea birds depart from the harbours at Buckie and further up the coast from Macduff. The Scottish Dolphin Centre is based in Spey Bay, which is also a great area to see dolphins and seals, which is to the west of the town. The coastline, which stretches in both ways from Buckie, is dotted with charming fishing towns and stunning beaches that are ideal for strolling with your fish and chips. Bring a picnic, travel to the storied Loch Ness, and wander along its breathtaking shoreline. You may also visit the nearby historic city of Elgin. From this charming tiny beach town, there is plenty to see and do.

Then walking into the living room and seeing the beautiful view through the double doors out to the kitchen was breath-taking. Stunning views everyday no matter the weather, Everything about the home signals quality, from furniture, to bedding to bathrooms to kitchen set up. Everything. It is in a great position for town, cafe's, walking, driving distance to beautiful Cullen and Findhorn. Despite being so close to the sea, it was very quiet too, gull wise. Having stayed coastal for the past few years in Scotland, this was very welcome. Safe to say this is one of the best accommodations we ever stayed in.
